Never Alone

I see the Lord is always with me.  I will not be shaken, for he is right beside me.  No wonder my heart is glad, and my tongue shouts his praises!  My body rests in hope.     -Acts 2:25-26

King David spoke these words while he was experiencing hardship.  There were times he made some poor decisions and he paid some tough consequences, he also faced some pretty angry people but over and over he was sure that no matter what was happening he wasn’t alone.  He recognized that God’s presence in his life outweighed the odds he was facing.  His confidence in God gave him peace while things around him were falling apart.  He was never excused from the hardships, he would even find himself running scared, but he would always remember that God was with him.  Even in the toughest of times he would find joy in his heart and songs of praise to God.  He was able to rest on the run because he was never alone.  

You, too, are never alone.  God is with you through every difficulty you face and the more you accept that fact and understand His power in your life, the easier facing those difficulties will be.  As your faith grows, so will your hope.  And in that hope lies your power to trust in God’s presence and protection in your life.  Be like David, see that the Lord is always with you!
