Believing Brings Blessing

You are blessed because you believed that the Lord would do what he said. -Luke 1:45

Words spoken to young Mary who was anxiously waiting on the birth of her child. Like Mary, we too can find this blessing every time we believe that God is working on our behalf. We can always believe that God will do what His Word says He will do, for us and with us and over us. Believing will open our eyes to the beauty found amidst the ugly. Believing will open our hearts to accept other answers that we weren’t quite planning on. Believing that God is working for us will help us see blessings where unbelievers may find darkness and despair. When we believe, we see more and deeper into our situation. As we hold on to that belief our hearts begin to align with God’s and we see things like He sees them.

Don’t despair! Blessings do come from pain and difficulty and loss, as long as we believe that God will never leave us alone in that place. Blessings come from believing that God can fix anything, allowing God to be in charge, opening our hearts to what ever “fix” He knows is best for us. So choose to believe and wait for His blessings. You will never regret it!
